Sara is passionate about child welfare, trauma-informed care, and advocating for military families and veterans. Currently, she teaches in the Human Services department, where she guides students in understanding social dynamics, theory, and practical applications. Sara brings over a decade of experience in clinical practice, teaching, and program development, with extensive work in supporting the military community, behavioral health in children, and victim advocacy. She has also played a key role in designing prevention and education programs focused on reducing domestic violence and child maltreatment.
Outside of work, Sara enjoys functional fitness, reading, and spending time with her three children.
