We do things differently here. A lot differently. You'll see what we mean.

Here, we put students first. So much so that we provide every student with their own success coordinator to ensure a personalized and rewarding experience. We foster leadership through service. We innovate, quickly and constantly. If we see a way to better serve our students, we do it. Even if it means cutting tuition by 57% to make an excellent undergraduate education more accessible, or expanding our online, graduate, and executive offerings to meet the growing need. At University of the Cumberlands, what you see is what you get – no hidden fees, no secret handshake, no fine print.

When it comes to providing the best education we possibly can, we’re not afraid to revamp. To reinvent. To rethink. To always put you first.

On-campus, online, certificate and more.

My experience with UC was amazing. Despite being an online student, I felt connected. The program exceeded my expectations.

General Education Requirements

The General Education curriculum outlined below applies to new full-time undergraduate students enrolling in the current term. Students previously enrolled at Cumberlands full-time will complete the General Education curriculum as defined in earlier catalogs. If you are looking for a bachelor's degree in general studies, your career trajectory may benefit from this program.

Collectively, the courses taken to fulfill the requirements of the six sections of the General Education curriculum are intended to provide a breadth of information, an understanding of critical concepts, and a mastery of skills to support a life-long pursuit not only of professional achievement but also of “responsible service and leadership.”
