Dr. Tye Prewitt, PA-C graduated from the University of the Cumberlands Physician Assistant Program in 2012 and in the past has served as an adjunct professor and preceptor. He is now the Director of Clinical Education with the program. He is proud to be in this role with his Alma Mater! He has worked clinically in cardiology, internal medicine, correctional medicine, neurology and aesthetics. He served as the Eastern Kentucky representative for the Kentucky Academy of Physician Assistants. He is also a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants. Prior to his career in medicine, Tye attended Eastern Kentucky University where he earned a Bachelor of Biology. In his free time, Tye enjoys spending time with family and friends. He loves to travel, attend music/ theatre events and is actively involved in his local gym where he is an instructor.
