Sima Siami-Namini joined the faculty of the Hutton School of Business at the University of the Cumberlands in 2024. She brings extensive experience in teaching economics, statistics, and finance, along with expertise in financial modeling, data management, statistical analysis, and business strategy. Her research interests include macroeconomics, monetary policy, time series analysis, econometrics, statistical analysis, and applied machine learning in financial markets.

Siami-Namini earned her Ph.D. in Applied Economics with a minor in Statistics from Texas Tech University in 2020, as well as master’s degrees in Statistics in 2022 and in Artificial Intelligence with a concentration in Machine Learning in 2023 from the University of North Texas.
