Dr. Ledman has been in higher education for over 25 years, twenty of those years as a professor. Prior to his academic career, he had a career with the American Red Cross Blood Program as a researcher and administrator. He is a certified SCUBA diver with at 100 open water dives, an avid reader, and active volunteer. He retired from full-time employment in 2017.
He has published numerous pedagogical research papers including experiential exercises and empirical research focused on improving student learning using management principles applied as they would be to improve employee performance. He has also explored the time effects on learning deterioration.
