Dr. Babi received his PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Cleveland State University. He has more than twenty years of experience teaching both graduate and undergraduate courses in the areas of Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Computer and Network Security, Data Science, and Data Analytics. Dr. Babi served as course reviewer for many graduate and undergraduate courses. He also served as course designer, faculty mentor, and Subject Matter Expert (SME). Dr. Babi also served as books and articles reviewer on many publications. Dr. Babi is a member of IGI Global CyberTech Publishing’s International Advisory Review Board.
Dr. Babi research interest in the area of investigating ways of building high dependable and secure distributed systems. Over the past several years, his research focus has evolved from building faulty tolerance systems using reliable group communication systems to the integration of replication and transaction processing, to state machine replications based on Paxos algorithm and to Byzantine Fault Tolerance.
