Dr. Melena Saddler is currently an assistant professor at the University of Cumberlands and a graduate of Capella University, Her expertise lies in trauma-informed counseling with BIPOC women regarding their sexual trauma. Dr. Saddler is interested in multicultural and diversity issues as it relates to barriers in counseling. Dr. Saddler is also interested in supervision and advising and the role they play in fostering new counselors. Dr. Saddler is a native or New York City but roots are in the Caribbean. She is an Ausome mom and interested in learning more about neurodivergence.
