Jerry Breshin has been a university professor of marketing for over twenty-five years. He earned his doctorate from Penn State University in marketing with minors in consumer behavior and statistics.
Before moving to Florida in 2005, he was a Full Professor of Marketing at the Interamerican University in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He has taught marketing courses at all three academic levels, undergraduate, MBA and doctoral.
During his time at the Interamerican University, he helped design the first doctoral program in business administration in Puerto Rico. He served as director of the doctoral program as well as a director of a City University of New York – Interamerican University doctoral consortium.
He has enjoyed teaching in various universities in the U.S., Latin America and Europe. He was a visiting professor of marketing at the ESC – IFI in Rouen France.
He has also consulted for various multinational companies in the area of marketing, communications and strategic planning. He conducted marketing research for multinational companies in Puerto Rico among them Proctor and Gamble and various international banks. As a recognized marketing expert, he served as an expert witness in in various litigation between multinational companies in Puerto Rico.
After arriving to Florida in 2005, Dr. Breshin enjoyed teaching assignments at the University of South Florida, Hodges University and Penn State’s online program the World University. Looking to diversity his interests, he became a licensed Florida Real Estate Broker Associate and a Licensed Real Estate Instructor.
His hobbies include tennis and golf.
