Dr. Dixie Overton has worked in project management in the financial industry for the past 22 years. She has lead or been instrumental in technology upgrades, new systems migrations, information security, and access management.
She enjoys the diversity of teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
Dr. Overton lives in West Des Moines, IA with her Japanese Chin dog Neko. Neko is a registered therapy dog and she and Neko had been visiting senior communities weekly from 2011 until the pandemic.
