Danny McDonald resides in Louisville, KY, where he works at a local university as an Instructional Designer and as an adjunct professor in philosophy. Overall, Danny has over 20 years experience in education having served a variety of administrative and teaching roles.

Danny's current research interest involves the role of narrative as an epistemological act. He has an article under review that explores how narrative can be an opportunity for one to come to know. Another work published in 2022 explores reading Scripture as an act of listening that shapes one's moral formation. Other areas of research interest include metaphilosophy and the relationship between faith and reason.

Born and raised in Louisiana, he moved to Louisville to begin his M. Div., and on the very first day of orientation, he met his wife; they have been married over 20 years and have three daughters - two of which are in college student and the youngest is a senior in high school.

In addition to teaching, Danny plays the drums and enjoys following LSU sports and the NY Mets. He collects early 20th century novels and enamel pins.
