Dr. Kile is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Associate Substance Abuse Counselor in Arizona, where she also operates her private practice, specializing in forensic mental health, while also providing services to adults with a variety of mental health concerns. 

Dr. Kile has been providing professional counseling services since 2007 and has served in a variety of settings, including a residential treatment facility for adolescents, a forensically-focused outpatient agency, and a federally-qualified health center that implemented an integrated model of medical and behavioral health. Dr. Kile has held several supervisory positions including Clinical Director of a behavioral health agency, overseeing seven counseling agencies across Arizona, and Clinical Manager of the behavioral health department for the FQHC.

Dr. Kile’s research interests include the perpetration of intimate partner violence, and she has presented on this topic at various conferences. She was recently nominated and Court-appointed into the Domestic Violence Service Provider Seat on the Arizona Supreme Court’s Committee on Impact of DV and the Courts and is also a member of the DV Offender Treatment Work Group on this committee. She also serves on Pima County’s DV Fatality Review Board. 

As a Counselor Educator, Dr. Kile is an active member of ACA, ACES, WACES, ASGW, and IAAOC. She has served as UC’s Subject Matter Expert for the Legal and Ethical Issues course since 2019 and has also presented on ethics in the counseling field at various conferences. She values helping students learn practical skills and appreciates supporting them in their journey of finding their place in this profession. 

Dr. Kile enjoys being in the sunny Arizona weather with her family.
