Licensed in the state of Maryland as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and a Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist (LCMFT).
Involvement in community service is very important. Many hours involved in the community; mainly the American Red Cross. President and CEO of a non-profit organization called “It is Well International, Inc.” The organization is set up to drill wells for clean water, supply clean water filters, and supply mosquito netting internationally. “It is Well International, Inc.” has completed 67 water projects since 2014. Teaching experience includes teaching Family Counseling at the Community College of Baltimore, Maryland for 5 years, teaching Marriage and Family Counseling and Counseling Techniques for Loyola University Maryland graduate school for one year, and teaching Introduction to Counseling and Counseling Psychology here at the University of the Cumberlands since 2014.
Additionally, Dr. Deel is a House Leader for Habitat for Humanity Susquehanna, was the past State Community Lay Director of two Christian retreat programs, was the past State Chairperson for an international prison ministry, was an ex-officio member of the local Women’s Commission, is a small group leader inside a women’s prison, is the music director for four different Christian retreat programs, leading weekly praise and worship at my church, and does genealogical research for her family history.
