Dr. Trey Jarboe has served as Provost of University of the Cumberlands since fall 2022. Prior to his current position, he served in various roles at the school, including leading the student success, advising, and admissions teams as the Associate Vice President and, later, as Vice President for Enrollment and Retention. Dr. Jarboe exhibits a student-first mentality with a dedication to helping students be successful. Under his leadership, Cumberlands developed student success teams to serve all populations of students.
Dr. Jarboe understands UC students because used to be one. He was a work-study student and majored in human services and criminal justice, completing both degrees in 2013. Since then, he has also completed his Master of Justice Administration and Doctor of Philosophy in Leadership degree, both at University of the Cumberlands.
He is married to his wife, Carley, and they have two children, Evan and Owen, who are the center of Dr. Jarboe’s world.
