"UConnections: Shining the Spotlight on Student Success"

UConnections interviews students, coaches and teachers from local high schools each week, giving them the opportunity to share their success in their schools and in their community. Among the usual guests are senior students currently going through the college search process, an admissions counselor from UC, and then the teachers and coaches that strive to make their students successful while in high school. The goal of UConnections is education, outreach and celebration. By sharing the experiences of high school seniors, we want to help other students in their college search process. By bringing students to the UC campus, we want to share with local students what a nearby University has to offer. Last but not least, we want to celebrate all the fantastic achievements happening at local high schools with these students and their mentors.

The Spring 2012 semester has involved four schools each month. These schools are: Williamsburg High School, Corbin High School, McCreary Central High School, and Whitley County High School.
