Like the women’s residence Gillespie Hall, rooms in Mahan Hall were originally built in a wide variety of sizes and layouts. To preserve the historic integrity of the building, room sizes were not significantly altered during the recent, extensive renovation. As a result, the men of Mahan live in rooms accommodating anywhere from 1 to 3 people.

While some upperclassmen live in Mahan, most of the residents are freshmen. This residence hall has its own TV lounge, and shares a fitness center, computer lab, and laundry facilities with the residents of Robinson and Cook Hall.
