CHRIS JOHNSON RECEIVES STUDENT LEADER AWARD

 


WILLIAMSBURG, Ky.- The Student Government Association at University of the Cumberlands presented Chris Johnson (Casa Grande, Arizona) with the Male Student Leader Award during the fifty-second Honors Day Convocation on Monday April 25, 2011.

A sophomore criminal justice major and political science minor, Johnson has spent the last two years working on the Student Government Association office as a workstudy member. Johnson also served this year as a Senator and also the male representative on the Student Awards Committee.

Following graduation, Johnson hopes to work for the Kentucky State Police or the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

Located in Williamsburg, KY, University of the Cumberlands is an institution of regional distinction, which currently offers four undergraduate degrees in more than 40 major fields of study; nine pre-professional programs; seven graduate degrees, including a doctorate and six master’s degrees; certifications in education; and online programs.
