Jared Dobney is receives the 2010 Criminal Justice Award from Ms. Gina Bowlin, Chair of the Department of Human Services.

WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. — Jared Dobney received the Human Services Department’s 2010 Criminal Justice Award at the 51st annual Honors Day Convocation, on April 26, at University of the Cumberlands. He was also named a Hutton Scholar, an honor bestowed on graduating seniors who have contributed 200 or more volunteer hours to community service during their college careers.

Departmental awards are awarded based on a student’s academic achievement, service to the department and service to the University.

Dobney graduated on May 8 with a Bachelor of Science degree in criminal justice. He is from Cedarville, Ohio.
