Robb honored at University of the Cumberlands


Samantha Robb receives honors at Convocation.

WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. — Samantha Robb received the A.T. Siler Memorial Award during the 51st annual Honors Day Convocation, on April 26, at University of the Cumberlands. She was also recognized as a student of High Honor. Robb also was named to membership in Sigma Delta Pi, the National Collegiate Hispanic Honor Society.

Robb, of Louisville, is a junior pursuing a major in music education.

The A.T. Siler Memorial Award is named for an early trustee who served the school for more than fifty years, and each year the University presents it to a junior who has demonstrated outstanding community service.

Sigma Delta, Pi, the National Collegiate Hispanic Honor Society (La Sociedad Nacional Honoraria Hispanica), is dedicated to promoting interest in Hispanic Culture. Membership is open to outstanding students of the Spanish language and Hispanic Literature.

To receive recognition for Honor, a student must attain a minimum of 3.85 cumulative, grade point average.
