UC theatre department to hold open auditions for “A Christmas Carol”

WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. – The University of the Cumberlands theatre department will hold open auditions for its production of “A Christmas Carol” on Tuesday, September 1, beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the Kohn Theatre on campus.

Auditions slots are in 5 minute blocks and are open to performers of any age. Each person auditioning will be asked to perform a one-minute monologue and may also be asked to scream due to the eerie nature of the play. Monologues will be available, please come early to read through materials.

An audition workshop will be available on Monday, August 31, at 7 p.m. in the Kohn Theatre. The workshop is voluntary and will last about 30 minutes. You will be able to sign up for an audition at the workshop.

Performance dates for “A Christmas Carol” are: November 5, 6, 7, 8 (matinee), 12, 13, 14 and 15 (matinee).
