Warford honored at University of the Cumberlands

Dr. Eric Wake, professor and chair of the History and Political Science Department of University of the Cumberlands, presents the Political Science Award to Amanda Warford during the annual Honors Day Convocation.

WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. — Amanda Warford received the Political Science Award during the 50th annual Honors Day Convocation on April 27, and she graduated summa cum laude during Commencement on May 9, at University of the Cumberlands.

The History and Political Science Department chooses the Political Science Award on the basis of three criteria: academic achievement; service to the department; and service to the University.

The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mark C. Warford of Lawrenceburg, Warford graduated with a perfect 4.0 GPA. Although she has been accepted at several law schools, she has chosen to attend the Brandeis School of Law at the University of Louisville.
