Dr. Cindi Norton, professor and chair of the Health, Exercise and Sport Science Department presents the Fitness and Sport Management Award to Kristi Jo Wright

WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. — Kristy Jo Wright received the Health, Exercise and Sport Science Department’s Fitness and Sport Management Award during the 50th annual Honors Day convocation at University of the Cumberlands on April 27.

Wright is the daughter of Jerry and Sherri Wright, of London, and a 2005 graduate of University of the Cumberlands. She returned to UC in the fall of 2008 to complete the new Fitness and Sport Management program with a 4.0 GPA. Following graduation, she will return to Trooper Island, where she worked before resuming her Cumberlands studies, to fill a post as a full-time camp counselor and medic.
