Wolfe wins History Award

Dr. Eric Wake, professor and chair of the History and Political Science Department, presents the History Award to Andrew Wolfe.

WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. — Andrew Wolfe received the History Award during the 50th annual Honors Day convocation at University of the Cumberlands.

The History and Political Science Department chooses the History Award on the basis of three criteria: academic achievement; service to the department; and service to the university.

Wolfe, a native of Escondido, Cal., who graduated officially in January 2009, works for the University at the present time. While he continues to work for UC, he will take some classes in the Master of Arts in Teaching program until his wife graduates. He and his wife plan to return to California, where he is seriously considering entering graduate school to pursue advanced degrees in history.
