||
With music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz, the musical production will feature UC junior Aaron Leftwich as Jesus. The supporting roles of familiar characters Judas, Peter and Thomas will be played by Jason Ewing, Andrew Morrison and Matt Sebastian, respectively. The 15 member cast promises a high energy performance that is guaranteed to make the audience tap their toes. "We have a great group of student actors who will be making the incredible set come alive through music with a message," says Theatre Director Malissa White. The play, based on the gospel according to Matthew, was first produced in 1971 and is known for the international hit song "Day by Day." Admission is $10, and tickets are available through the Kohn Box Office at 606-539-4535 or at www.TicketGuys.com.
