Ashley Murray to present senior recital

WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. – University of the Cumberlands music student Ashley Murray is to perform her senior recital at 7:30 p.m., on Friday, February 15, in the Nell Moore Recital Hall of the Grace Crum Rollins Center on campus.

Murray, of McKee, is a trumpet student of Assistant Professor of Music Dr. Patrick Tuck and will be offering the recital in partial fulfillment for the Bachelor of Science in music degree.

The evening features a variety of music, including Viviani's "Sonata Prima Per Trombetta Sola," Hummel's "Trumpet Concerto" and "Timeless to Me" from the hit Broadway musical "Hairspray." Murray will be accompanied by UC Music Instructor Kay Dawn McFarland on piano and other students playing a variety of instruments. Admission is free.
