Music scholarship benefit concert to be held on Cumberlands’ campus |

The music faculty includes Jeff Smoak, Gayle Majors, David Etter, David Threlkeld, Patrick Tuck, Jim Corcoran, Sean Greene and Kay Dawn McFarland. Also accompanying during the performance will be Melissa Brooks Greene, wife of Sean Greene. Each of the faculty will perform on his or her principle instrument. Student Ashley Murray, this year’s Phyllis Richardson Wood Scholarship recipient, will also perform “Andante et Allegretto” on trumpet. The concert will take place at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, September 18th, in the Nell Moore Recital Hall of the Grace Crum Rollins Fine Arts Center on the campus of University of the Cumberlands. The concert is open to the public for donations of $10 for adults and $4 for students. All proceeds will go to the Phyllis Richardson Wood Scholarship Fund.
