Slusher Receives Award for Outstanding Senior Musician

 


WILLIAMSBURG, KY. – Joshua Slusher, the son of Shirley and John Slusher of Flat Lick, was named the Outstanding Senior Musician during the Honor’s day service held April 23. The award is given annually to a senior music major who excels not only musically as a performer but who also excels academically in his or her particular area of study.

Stephens was one of two seniors chosen for this honor.

University of the Cumberlands, located in Williamsburg, Kentucky, is a private liberal arts college in its 118th year of operation. Cumberlands offers four undergraduate degrees in 37 major fields of study, 30 minors and nine pre-professional programs, as well as online and accelerated, non-traditional programs for adults.
