Clemenz Receives 2007 Business Administration Award


WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. – University of the Cumberlands Hutton School of Business annually presents awards to the top graduates in the area of business. The honors are awarded to students based on academic achievement and particular merit during the Honors Day service held each year at University of the Cumberlands. On Monday, April 23, the 2007 Business Administration Award was given to Anna Clemenz, of Bellbrook, Ohio.

Clemenz is the daughter of Gary and Debby Clemenz of Bellbrook, Ohio. She is graduating with a double major in business administration and psychology. She has maintained a 4.0 GPA at Cumberlands and has been inducted into the J. T. Vallandingham Scholastic Honor Society. She has been on the President’s List every semester. Clemenz published and presented research at the Southeastern Psychological Association 2007 conference. She was an Academic All-Conference selection for varsity volleyball for three years. Clemenz is a recipient of the Presidential Scholarship and an athletic scholarship for volleyball. She is a member of Sigma Beta Delta National Business Honorary Society, Alpha Lambda Delta National Freshman Honorary Society, and is the president of Psi Chi National Psychology Honorary Society. She has served as a tutor in the Academic Resource Center, and is a telecounselor for the Office of Admissions.

University of the Cumberlands, located in Williamsburg, Kentucky, is a private liberal arts college in its 118th year of operation. Cumberlands offers four undergraduate degrees in 37 major fields of study, 30 minors and nine pre-professional programs, graduate degrees and certifications in education as well as online and accelerated, nontraditional programs for adults.
