Free health and fitness fair to be held at University of the Cumberlands

WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. – University of the Cumberlands will host Dare to Compare: Fitness Five from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m., Thursday, April 12, in the O. Wayne Rollins Center. This is a free health and fitness fair and is open to the public.

Dare to Compare: Fitness Five, a fun health and fitness program for all ages, is a semi-annual event sponsored by Cumberlands’ Health, Exercise, and Sport Science Department and the Cumberland River Comprehensive Care Center. The public is encouraged to take advantage of free health and fitness assessments and screenings provided during the day’s activities. There will also be educational programs on how to live a healthier and fit life. Free blood glucose and cholesterol testing from Jellico Community Hospital will be available, as well as free blood pressure, health information and sources of referrals from area health and fitness centers.
