David and Lalie Dick to sign book on October 20th at The Cumberland Inn

WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. – David and Lalie Dick will sign copies of their latest book “Kentucky: A State of Mind,” from 10 a.m. until noon, on Friday, October 20th in the lobby of the Cumberland Inn.

David, an Emmy award winning writer and former CBS news correspondent, has written 10 books from his Plum Lick home, including a biography of Jesse Stuart, which was nominated for the Appalachian Writers Association's 2006 non-fiction book of the year.

David also writes a column in Kentucky Living magazine, and Lalie has a column in the Kentucky Farm Bureau's newspaper, All Around Kentucky.

The Cumberland Inn, located just off Exit 11 of Interstate 75, is a University of the Cumberlands property.

University of the Cumberlands, located in Williamsburg, Kentucky, is a private liberal arts college in its 117th year of operation. Cumberlands offers four undergraduate degrees in 37 major fields of study, 30 minors and nine pre-professional programs, as well as online and accelerated, nontraditional programs for adults.
