Rebecca McKinney Earns H.N. and Frances Berger Foundation Scholarship


Williamsburg, KY. - University of the Cumberlands (UC) presented Rebecca McKinney (Williamsburg, KY) with the H.N. and Frances Berger Foundation Endowed Scholarship during the Fifty-Fifth Annual Honors Day on Sunday, April 27, 2014 in the Gatliff Chapel on UC’s campus.

In 1983, the H. N. and Frances Berger Foundation Endowed Scholarship Fund was established at Cumberlands to recognize exceptionally bright young people who have demonstrated high academic ability.

McKinney was also named to the University’s High Honor Roll. Students recognized for this honor must attain a minimum of 3.85 cumulative grade point average standing.

Rebecca H. McKinney is a senior, middle-grades education major with a minor in math and special education. She plans to pursue a career teaching math and special education in a local school.
