Kelsey Eastham Earns Exercise and Sport Science Award

Williamsburg, KY. - University of the Cumberlands (UC) presented Kelsey Eastham with the Exercise Sport Science Award during the Fifty-Fifth Annual Honors Day held April 27th in the Gatliff Chapel on UC’s campus.

Each year, the Health, Exercise and Sport Science (HESS) department presents a deserving student with the Outstanding Exercise and Sport Science Award for their dedication, motivation and overall excellence in the field of study.

Eastham (Urbana, Ohio) is the daughter of Lisa Lakey and Tim Eastham. She is a double major in Exercise and Sport Science and Public Health. Her future plans include pursuing a health care career as a Physical Therapist working with injured soldiers.

Located in Williamsburg, Ky., University of the Cumberlands is an institution of regional distinction, which currently offers four undergraduate degrees more than 40 major fields of study; ten pre-professional programs; ten graduate degrees distributed over eight areas, including two doctorates and seven master’s degrees; certifications in education; and online programs.
