America’s Got Talent finalist to perform at UC

 


WILLIAMSBURG, KY. - Renowned storyteller, Joe Castillo, will be performing at University of the Cumberlands (UC) in the O. Wayne Rollins Center on October 4th at 9 pm. The performance is free and open to the public and highlights UC’s 125th Homecoming & Family Weekend.

Castillo’s craft inspired the nation during his time on NBC’s reality show, America’s Got Talent. In mid-September 2012, he became a finalist and continues to amaze audiences with his skills. One of his more famous pieces, “He is Alive”, portrays the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

 


As a world premier Sand Animation performer, Castillo sculpts sand into various pictures while light colors the sand and inspirational music is played in the background.
