University of the Cumberlands to observe Patriot Day for 9/11 ceremony

 


Williamsburg, Ky. - University of the Cumberlands (UC) will conduct a commemoration ceremony for the victims of 9/11 on Wednesday, September 11th in Patriot Park at the Hutton School of Business. The program will begin at 12:00 noon.

The ceremony is free and open to the public. The inclement weather site will be in the O. Wayne Rollins Center.

The ceremony will open with a musical arrangement and prayer. Senior Judge Eugene Siler Jr. will be presiding over the ceremony, contributing his opening remarks prior to the flag ceremony.

The University of the Cumberlands’ ROTC Honor Guard will conduct the flag ceremony.
