UC Named to Baptist Colleges with High Starting Salaries for Graduates


Williamsburg, Ky. - The has released an unique new list of twenty-six Baptist colleges with graduates who earn high starting salaries. ACO thoroughly reviewed four-year, fully-accredited private institutions with average starting salaries for graduates of more than $30,000.00 per year. The website also looked at mid-career salary averages as well as the overall return on investment for the degree. The University of the Cumberlands (UC) is proud to be among the twenty-six Baptist colleges or universities to be honored on this list.

“Our emphasis on high quality and low cost higher education is again being recognized nationally. It’s very gratifying to receive this great recognition,” said UC President Jim Taylor.

Most parents and potential college students are burdened by the fear of financial ruin when considering a college or university. Colleges in the list meet the following criteria: Four year private US colleges, IPEDS / Carnegie Classification with Baptist religious affiliation, fully accredited, and average starting salary upon graduation of more than $30,000 per year.
