Keith Named University of the Cumberlands Honored Philosophy/Religion Graduate


WILLIAMSBURG, Ky.- Aprile J. Keith, the daughter of Green and Jackie Keith of London, Ky., was presented the 2006 Honored Philosophy/Religion Graduate award during University of the Cumberlands’ Honors Day service held April 24.

Keith has been a member of the forensics team for four years, served as an ambassador for three years, and served as president of the philosophy club and Pi Kappa Delta for one year each. She recently presented her presidential research paper analyzing the theodicies of Richard Swinburne and Marilyn McCord Adams.

She has been accepted into the Ph.D. program in philosophy at Boston College.

University of the Cumberlands, located in Williamsburg, Kentucky, is a private liberal arts college in its 117th year of operation. Cumberlands offers four undergraduate degrees in 37 major fields of study, 30 minors and nine pre-professional programs, as well as online and accelerated, nontraditional programs for adults.
