His recital included performances of the music he has learned and performed over the past four years. Languages including German, French, Italian, and English were presented in his musical performance.

Vaughn began with a collection of songs in French and then continued to sing in English. His third set included songs from Ludwig van Beethoven’s collection” An die ferne Geliebte”, which were all in German. Later he sang songs in Italian and then moved on to his Broadway section ending his recital with “Stranger in Paradise” from Kismet by Robert Wright and George Forrest.

“Overall I feel that the recital went very well,” said Vaughn. “Looking back on things, I can always find things where I could have performed better and while there are these instances, I was very pleased with the performance I gave.”
