Second Annual Franklin P. Owen Conference on Missions and the Church to be Held on Campus

Williamsburg, Ky. - University of the Cumberlands is pleased to host the second annual Franklin P. Owen Conference on Missions and the Church. The conference, featuring Dr. George Martin, is to be held on Cumberlands’ campus in Williamsburg on Monday, April 10th through Wednesday, April 12th.

Scheduled events include a luncheon at 11:30 a.m., on Monday, April 10th, at the Cumberland Inn and a lecture at 3:30 p.m., on Tuesday, April 11th, in the Bennett Auditorium. Martin is also the feature speaker at Monday and Wednesday’s convocation services held at 10 a.m. on April 10th and April 12th.

Martin, a renowned speaker as well as a successful leader, is a M. Theron Rankin Professor of Missions. He is also the associate dean of Billy Graham School of Missions, Evangelism and Church Growth at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Ky.
