Cumberlands Announces 2011 Homecoming Court

 


WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. – University of the Cumberlands (UC) is pleased to announce the representatives of the 2011 Homecoming Court and the candidates for Queen and King.

The 2011 Freshman representatives are: Hanna Wright and John Inman. Hanna is Biology major and is the daughter of David and Dianna Wright of Corbin, KY. John is majoring in Exercise and Sports science and Spanish. He is the son of Susan and Steve Hord of El Paso, TX.

The 2011 sophomore Homecoming Court representatives are: Brandy Norman, Lizzy Horn, Brad Pearce, and Clay Cyrus.

Brandy is a Communication Arts major and is the daughter of Doug and Ann Norman of Carlisle, KY. Her escort, Brad Pearce, is majoring in Communication Arts and Criminal Justice. He is the son of Greg and Vonie Pearce of Lexington, Ky.

Lizzy is majoring in Art Education and is the daughter of Michael and Kristan Horn of Denver, CO. Her escort, Clay Cyrus, is a Psychology major and is the son of Vivean and Stephen Cyrus of Morehead, KY.

The 2011 junior Homecoming Court representatives are: Roxie Blankenship, Dave Baker, Brittany Bostic, Blake Debacher, Rebecca Franks, and Jarrod Mills.

Roxie is a Business and Public Health major and is the daughter of Roy and Shelia Blankenship and Clint and Sabriana Lonas of Scottsville, KY. She is being escorted by Dave Baker. Dave is a Communication Arts major and is the son of Kay Smith and John David Baker of Barbourville, KY.

Brittany Bostic is a Public Health major and is the daughter of Larry and Debra Bostic of Jacksboro, TN. She is being escorted by Blake Debacher. Blake is a Nursing Major and is the son of Bruce and Maria Debacher of Dade Co., FL.

Rebecca Franks is a Fitness and Sports Management major and is the daughter of Larry and Billie Franks of Harlan, KY. She is being escorted by Jarrod Mills. Jarrod is a Communication Arts major and the son of Angel Crouse and James Mills of Williamsburg, KY.

The 2011 Senior Homecoming Court representatives for King and Queen are: Rebecca Watkins, Jared Coleman, Kendra McCollum, Travis Mihalik, Chelsea Hill, Blake Saylor, Deanna Dodd, and David Intal.

Rebecca Watkins is a Business Administrations major and is the daughter of Billy and Tammy Hatmaker of Wallins Creek, Ky. She is being escorted by Jared Coleman. Jared is a religion and political science double major and is the son of Todd and Robin Coleman of Jacksonville, Florida.

Kendra McCollum is a Business Administrations major and is the daughter of Rob and Gina McCollum of Berea, Ky. She is being escorted by Travis Mihalik. Travis is an Exercise & Sports Science and Health and Education double major and is the son of Gigi Mihalik of Fayetteville, GA.

Chelsea Hill is a Business Administration major and is the daughter of Dave and Leisa Hill of Lake City, TN. She is being escorted by Blake Saylor. Blake is a Business Administration Major and is the son of Doug and Mary Saylor, of Harlan, KY.

Deanna Dodd is a Human Services major and is the daughter of Demetra and the late David Dodd of London, Ky. She is being escorted by David Intal. David is a Human Services major and is the son of Robledo and Samoevn Intal of Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

The 2011 Homecoming Queen and King will be crowned during half-time of the homecoming football game on Saturday, Oct. 29.
