University of the Cumberlands participates in Yellow Ribbon Supporter Card program

WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. — University of the Cumberlands is participating in the Kentucky National Guard’s Yellow Ribbon Program. Those who carry the card will be eligible to receive a 10% discount on items at UC’s bookstore and on services at the Cumberland Inn, as well as free admission to all UC athletic events.

The card is available to those that are dependent on deployed soldiers. The card’s purpose is for the communities of deployed soldiers to support their dependents with various special discounts. The card will not be available to those dependent on non-deployed soldiers or to members of a soldier’s extended family.

To receive a card the dependent must fill out an application as well as sign for the card. If the dependent of the soldier is not eighteen they must have their caregiver sign for the card.
