KBC President to Speak at Cumberlands |

Williamsburg, Ky.- Dr. Floyd Paris, president of the Kentucky Baptist Convention will address the students and faculty of University of the Cumberlands on August 29, 2011. Convocation will begin at 10:00am in the O. Wayne Rollins Center and is open to the public. Paris is a graduate of Mid-South Bible College in Memphis, Tennessee. He holds a master’s and doctorate degrees from Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary, which is also in Memphis. Dr. Paris has served as pastor of Unity Baptist Church in Ashland, Kentucky since 1998 and was elected as president of the Kentucky Baptist Convention in 2010. Located in Williamsburg, KY, University of the Cumberlands is an institution of regional distinction, which currently offers four undergraduate degrees in more than 40 major fields of study; nine pre-professional programs; seven graduate degrees, including a doctorate and six master’s degrees; certifications in education; and online programs. |
