Cumberlands Named a Military Friendly School

Recently, the University of the Cumberlands (UC) was selected by G.I. Jobs Magazine as a Military Friendly School for 2012. The honor places UC in the top 20% of all schools nationwide and rewards the University for its commitment to educating the United States military veterans.

“It is an honor to be selected as a Military Friendly School,” exclaimed University of the Cumberlands Vice President of Student Services and Retired Army Colonel Dr. Michael B. Colegrove.

“This recognizes the University for its continuing commitment to provide outstanding service to the Armed Forces of America. UC has supported the military through a strong thriving Army ROTC program and also has had many employees serve as members of the National Guard and Army Reserves. UC has always supported these individuals to fullest extent and this strong support will continue."

Located in Williamsburg, KY, University of the Cumberlands is an institution of regional distinction, which currently offers four undergraduate degrees in more than 40 major fields of study; nine pre-professional programs; nine graduate degrees, including two doctorates, a specialist, and six master’s degrees; certifications in education; and online programs.
