UC Religion Department to Change Name

WILLIAMSBURG, Ky- The University of the Cumberlands Religion department will undergo change following the 2011-2012 school year. Chair Dr. Bob Dunston took to the department’s facebook page (LINK: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Department-of-Missions-and-Ministry-at-Cumberlands/231168800233054) and twitter account (@UCReligion) to announce that the department will be renamed the Department of Missions and Ministry.

Dunston also stated that the department is “thinking about new courses to help students prepare for ministry in the 21st century”. More information on the departmental changes will be posted on the religion department’s facebook and twitter accounts as they become available. The change is being made because “the department will have multiple religious majors that incorporate Missions and Ministry.”
