Graduate Admissions Assistant

The responsibilities include:

  • Assist in creating and maintaining graduate admissions files
  • Assist graduate students in their initial program
  • Assist in maintaining database and provide reports as needed
  • Maintain a professional relationship with students in all areas of communication

Departmental Secretary / Academic Affairs Office

The responsibilities include:

  • Assist the Dean and Academic Affairs office as necessary including but not limited to:
  • Answer phones and direct visitors to the appropriate location
  • Assist Associate Dean will class scheduling, classroom utilization, and student absences
  • Assist Administrative Assistant with general office procedures
  • Custodial duties for office area
  • Assist in graduation activities and special events sponsored by the Academic Affairs Office
  • Assist Associate Dean with clerical needs
  • Order and maintain all office supplies, copier supplies, forms and stationery
  • Maintain documentation on applicants, faculty credentials, student withdrawals, incomplete contracts, and course syllabi
  • Work with Administrative Assistant on faculty evaluations as well as Dean and President’s list

Program Director, Physician Assistant Studies

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Three years experience teaching in a Physician Assistant program
  • NCCPA certification
  • Three years full-time Physician Assistant clinical practice
  • A graduate degree in Physician Assistant Studies or related degree

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

  • An earned doctorate
  • Experience as department chair or program director
  • Experience in curriculum development and program design
