Job Department School of Education

Job Title Clinical Coordinator

Available Date Immediately 

Job Responsibilities  The person filling this position must be one who;
  • Takes initiative
  • Collaborates and works to develop and coordinate clinical experiences
  • Works with the School of Education undergraduate and graduate programs to secure and monitor student clinical placements within the P-12 settings
  • Collaborates with administration, faculty, staff and P-12 partners to ensure clinical experiences are timely, appropriate, and meet regulations
  • Adheres to and trains on policies and procedures regarding clinical practices
  • Conducts data analysis, develops reports, and determines student needs
  • Routinely conferences with leadership to discuss individual students and other program situations
  • Monitors and ensures quality program implementation
  • Follows confidentiality laws and agreements with institutions
  • Builds relationships and collaborates with stage agencies, local school districts, faculty and staff
  • Some travel required

Job Requirements  

Position requires a Bachelors degree and experience in working in P-12 education.  Other requirements include:

  • Knowledgeable of Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication and word processing skills
  • Outstanding telephone skills, polite friendly manner in dealing with students and stakeholders
  • Willingness to serve students and the University
  • Initiative to take action
  • Morals and values that reflect those of the institution

Job Location Main Campus of University of the Cumberlands
