Trustee Scholarship

Trustee Scholarships are available for first-time freshmen with outstanding academic credentials.  While academic credentials are very important, all elements of your application (essay, letters of recommendation, involvement and leadership) will be considered. Up to 5 students per year will be selected for this scholarship. 

To apply for this scholarship, a student must score a 28 or higher composite on the ACT or a 1250 or higher (CR+M) on the SAT and must have a 3.5 or higher cumulative GPA.

An interview may be requested.

Trustee Scholarships amount to full-tuition, room and board per year for resident students and full tuition for commuters*.  Scholarships are renewable for up to four years.     

Trustee Scholarship applications must be submitted by February 1. Applicants must be admitted to University of the Cumberlands and file the FAFSA by February 15.

Applications are no longer being accepted for Fall 2013. Fall 2014 applications will be available beginning December 1, 2013.

*This scholarship, in addition to all other forms of financial aid, cannot exceed the cost of tuition, room and board, if applicable.
