Lisa Sibert began her career at Bush Elementary in London, Kentucky. After 21 years in the elementary classroom, she was named principal of the same school. Under Mrs. Sibert's tenure, Bush Elementary was awarded National Title I School of the Year, National Blue Ribbon School, and was ranked as one of the top public schools in the state according to KPREP scores.
Mrs. Sibert began transitioning to higher education in the fall of 2017. Beginning as an adjunct professor she then moved to Assistant Professor of Education were she currently teaches two of the capstone courses in the education department and supervises student teachers.
