| Position | Youth/Student Pastor |
| Requirements | Minimal Educational Requirements: Bachelors degree in a related field from an accredited college/university. (Masters degree preferred) Minimum Experience: 3 to 5 years experience as a Youth Pastor or Assistant Youth Pastor Must be duly licensed, ordained, and a Southern Baptist minister of the Gospel in full fellowship with all the denominational agencies with whech the Church is in cooperation. Must also be a called servant of God, and hold the Holy Bible as the complete, infallible, inerrant Word of God and preach and teach the entire Bible. Must support the programs of the church, be a strong adherent to Southern Baptist doctrine, subscribe to the FBK Articles of Faith and Covenant, tithe, and manifest a spirit of cooperation conductive to Christian fellowship. |
| Responsibilities | The Youth Pastor is responsible to the Lord and the Senior Pastor and to Firs Baptist Church of Kettering to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ, to teach the Bible, to engage in pastoral care ministries (hospital visits, etc.) to plan, organize, direct, and control a comprehensive youth and college ministry of approximately 100 students and to reach out to local schools and the community. |
