| Position | Staff Engineer |
| Requirements | - Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering required, preferably Mechanical Engineering. - A minimum of 5 years experience in design engineering within a manufacturing environment required. - Understanding of Bill of Material structures. - Previous experience working with Manufacturing/Operations. - Experience with basic electrical wiring preferred. - Familiarity with 3D modeling (preferably Inventor but SolidWorks, SolidEdge, etc. will be considered). - Experience in appliance manufacturing a plus. - Previous experience working in a Stages and Gates type design process. - Good mechanical aptitude required. - Normal office environment with some exposure to the shop floor. - Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident. Visa sponsorship for H-1 will not be considered. |
| Responsibilities | - Plan, coordinate, and exercise functional authority for planning, organization, control, integration, and completion of engineering projects within area of responsibility. - Evaluate and approve design changes, specifications and drawings. - Review product design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications - Control expenditures within limitations of project budget. |
