Sponsored by Kentucky Campus Compact and Berea College, AmeriCorps is looking for recent college graduates to serve as AmeriCorps members to be placed in Kentucky High Schools as College Coaches. Desired skills include: Communications, Education, Leadership, Public Speaking, Teaching/Tutoring, and Youth Development. |
| Responsibilities |
AmeriCorps is looking for members to serve from October 1, 2010 to June 30, 2011. Members will work with high school students on a one-to-one basis, and give individualized help in transitioning to college. Participation in parents' nights and home visits is required. Other duties included is giving workshops, and to partner with teachers on course projects that help students with collge applications.
