Position  Account Executive
Requirements  Qualifications BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors degree in Business, Nursing or related field required Two years acute care market sales or related experience in consultative or concept selling, at the purchasing and clinical levels in target fields of capital equipment, medical devices, appliances and instruments Experience with MS Office applications including Word, Excel, Access, and OutLook OTHER QUALIFICATIONS: Must be willing to travel by commercial air service to attend scheduled business and corporate functions when required. Ability to manage change and multiple priorities Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in written format Ability to engage in self-appraisal and continuous learning Ability to operate independently and efficiently without supervision Ability to deal effectively with employees and business contacts and convey a positive service oriented attitude Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in all business dealings Ability to provide timely transportation as needed to perform duties Ability to exercise sound judgment, eliciting support and cooperation from coworkers
Responsibilities  Responsible for driving V.A.C. Therapy usage/adoption in Hospitals and LTACs (Long Term Acute Care) to achieve financial and strategic goals for assigned territory, preparing territory management and strategic account development plans, driving transitions by promoting “Continuity of Care”, presenting KCI products and services to help assist in providing optimum patient outcomes; managing high level account administration issues, seeking new revenue opportunities, while maintaining existing revenue through establishment and maintenance of superior customer relationships. This position reports directly to the District Manager Sales – Acute Care. Responsibilities Achieve revenue goals through: a. Ability to effectively present features and benefits of KCI products b. Development of relationships with key decision-makers and industry key opinion leaders c. Use of customer educational program d. Use of business and clinical data e. Preparing and conducting regular and timely business reviews f. Maximization of corporate contracts within assign territory g. Effectively communicating with physicians and customers at a Vice President level and above h. Net billable amount from Hospital and LTAC VAC orders i. Net billable amount from Transition VAC orders from assigned facilities (Hospital + LTAC) j. Revenue generated from Hospitals and LTACs 2. Perform routine administrative duties by: a. Capturing necessary and required patient billing data b. Capturing and maintaining customer profile data c. Assisting with customer invoicing, credit and collection issues d. Completing and submitting required corporate and region reports/documents within designated timeframes e. Managing high level (Contracting, Qtr. Business Review, etc.) account administration issues f. Supporting CAMs (Clinical Account Manager) in resolving low level account administration (Billing issues, MIAs) issues g. Assisting in collecting paperwork from physicians offices 3. Maintaining sales call data by entering into designated KCI system 4. Providing financial information and analysis for customer assessment regarding cost effectiveness of KCI therapies 5. Driving transitions by promoting “Continuity of Care” message to Physician, Administrators and Discharge Planners 6. Leading coordination efforts with CAMs for overall account management and territory development 7. VAC Therapy adoption by Physicians in Hospitals 8. Organizing KCI approved dinners and presentations with customers 9. Coordinating and participating in conventions, showrooms, vendor fairs, in-services, etc. 10. Assuring timely training and in-service of accounts using KCI products 11. Collaborating with other care settings to provide continuity of care a. Coordinating with AEPAs (Account Executive Post Acute) for calling on Physicians prescribing both in Acute and Post Acute Care b. Coordinating with service team for Consignment, customer service level etc. issues c. Sharing lead/information with surfaces team as required d. Assisting COPAs (Coordinator Patient Administrator)/AEPA in collections 12. Measuring, monitoring and reporting selling efforts through COMPASS, as well as manage input of data into system 13. Successful completion of all designated training programs for this position 14. Conforming to, supporting and enforcing all KCI policies and procedures 15. Will be on-call after hours, weekends, and holidays as required 16. Participating in any and all reasonable work assignments
